The “Who You Know” Promotion

If you're an akatoo user, you probably know other people who are intellectually curious, too. Why not invite them to join akatoo, especially if their participation could earn you a new iPhone 3G?

From July 1st to September 30th, the 30 (THIRTY) users whose invitees earn the most IKU will win a new iPhone 3G!

If you have previously invited active members to the akatoo community, good job! Their IKU earned during the promotion period (July 1st to September 30th) will count toward your promotion points.

If you have not yet invited members, don't fret. Every new user who joins receives 100 IKU automatically, just as you did. This is a tremendous advantage to all participants.

Here are some tips to help you win:

--You earn contest points by inviting users (your "invitees") who each earn IKU. Your invitees' sum total IKU points determine your outcome in the promotion.

--It's to your advantage to invite people who will be very active in the community. The more active an akatoo member is, the more IKU he or she can accumulate, which determines your rank in the promotion.

--When you invite new members during the promotion period (July 1st to September 30th), you benefit from the automatic 100 IKU they receive just for joining. For example, if you invite 100 new members during the promotion, you will get a minimum of 10,000 contest points.

--Please do not spam people you do not know, and please keep in mind that attempts to cheat disqualify users from the promotion.
