Is there an easy way to keep the zipper from falling down on a pair of jeans?

The zipper on my favorite jeans keeps falling down - is there an easy way to keep it from doing that? Note: I do NOT want to use a safety pin.

If none of the other options works out for you, you might consider taking them to a seamstress. Rates are usually pretty reasonable, and she might be able to replace the zipper or fix it for you.

For a McGiver fix, find a paperclip and lace it through the hole in the end of the zipper. Then wrap the remaining paperclip around the button at the top of the jeans. You won't be able to see the paperclip when you do it this way, but when you unzip them, the side with the button will follow the zipper down--a small price to pay for being able to wear your favorite jeans :)

You will probably have to replace the zipper. For some reason it isn't locking which is allowing the zipper to fall.

I have a good idea. Assuming the zipper has a hole on the actual zipper "handle" Take a piece of twine or thread and loop it through the hole, then tie the ends behind your neck secure enough to where the zipper won't fall down. Oh, but make sure the thread matches your clothing. ;)

ok so this may seem ghetto ...but ive done it and it works. Its really simple just use a safty pin. Pull the zipper up and and poke the pin thought the top hole of your zipper and pin it through the pants (usually rigth behing the button works).
