	The best way to deal with my pointe problem?

I'm a pre-professional (Dance major in college, hoping to turn pro within the next couple years) ballet student. I was blessed with very high arches--too high. I pop over every shoe. I've been working to strengthen my metatarsals, but in the meantime not even a hard shank and deep vamp can hold back my foot. What's the best way to deal with this? Vamp elastic? If so, what is the best method with which to attach it to the shoe, and how much?

Use medical tape to gently bind the shoe to your foot, just below the heel, with no more than two wrappings. It will be flexible enough to allow full motion, can withstand even the longest rehearsals and is easily removed.

Just get some custom made orthodics, that's what I did. I have extremely flat feet, and without them I would not be able to walk. The orthodics are amazing, and I have not had a problem since.
