Take the GPA on the 5.0 scale, multiply it by 4, then divide by 5. The result will be your GPA on a 4.0 scale.

All proportional. So, a 90% would be
5.0 scale: 4.5
4.0 scale: 3.6

THE MATH
[90] / 20 = [4.5] * 4 = [18] / 5 = [3.6]
