How do I remove stains from tupperware?

I put spaghetti in a clear tupperware container now it is stained. I washed and washed it and still the stain remains. Any ideas?

1.) Fill the Tupperware container with water and squeeze a generous amount of lemon juice into it.
2.) Place the container into a microwave and microwave it for about 4 minutes.
3.) Remove the container and let it stand and cool down, the stains should be lifted.
