Taken from the help page on facebook: Can others know when I view their profiles?
Facebook currently does not provide an application that allows users to track profile views or statistics on the views of any specific user content. Third party developers, however, may offer applications that provide some of this functionality. Please keep a few things in mind for these applications:

Applications CANNOT track profile visits for users who simply go to another person's profile; Facebook has made this technically impossible .

In order to be tracked by an application, you will need to specifically agree to allow the application to track your actions.

Adding an application that provides this functionality is purely optional. If you do not want to participate, please do not add the application to your account.

No, doing so would be a privacy violation. Users may visit any Facebook page they have access to without being tracked.

If you are concerned about people viewing your page, then alter your privacy settings. Additionally, you can place people in your limited profile group so they can only see portions of your page. (Again, according to your privacy setting.)

If you want to know who sees your page, just so you know how "popular" you are, keep in mind that there are a whole host of other ways to get information from facebook. I almost never visit my friend's pages. I get information in my news feed, read status updates in the status box, and send/recieve messages directly through my inbox. Even wall posts are usually through a wall-to-wall from my own profile.

In other words: no, you can't track who visits your page, but it wouldn't give you any useful information anyway.

I sent Facebook security this question earlier this year. The answer is no. Privacy settings that Facebook utilize make all tracking devices inoperable.

The best way to safeguard your Facebook against people you don't want to see it is to simply restrict it to "friends only."

There are applications that pretend to track who visits your Facebook, but they do not work. Facebook privacy settings trump the tracking cookies that these applications attempt to use.

No, not at this time.
Facebook's privacy policy restricts any tracking of profile viewing.
I agree with Ja.cage2, if you're nervous, set your privacy settings to "friends only."
And all those applications that claim to be able to track your profile views? Not true. If you read the fine print, you'll see something about Facebook's privacy policy...

Facebook is strong on privacy and they secure information according to the user's personal settings. There is an application on Facebook that I saw on a profile that showed my picture and it was called anti-stalker, but I read into its details and it was only retrieving my picture and showing it. It was against policy to keep any record of who visited.

And you can set your settings for either anyone or even only certain friends being allowed to see your information. Facebook is very customizable when it comes to privacy. You can learn more by going to the Facebook homepage and clicking on the Privacy link. But to put it simple, tracking is not allowed.

Absolutely not. Facebook banns all and any types of tracking to and from your facebook page. As others stated, set your profile to "friends only" and make sure to read all of the other settings so that your facebook is represented to only those you want to see it.

You can do plenty of stalking on Facebook in its current state, privacy settings permitting. There's no need to facilitate tracking. That would only enhance creepy stalkers even more!
